Earth Day is an annual event which occurs on 22nd April to show support for environmental protections. Every year there are a range of events throughout the globe, and the number of people getting involved is growing year on year.

Each year, Earth Day has a theme, and this year the theme is Restore Our Earth. This tied in perfectly with our plan to re-wild areas of land around the Mash Direct Farm, which commenced on Thursday 22nd April.

Staff from all departments have been involved in this exciting project, to plant over 800 trees around the Farm. We’re excited to watch the various varieties of trees grow.
